The last few weeks - and let's face it, the last few months - have been full of discomfort, fear, and confusion. In addition to living through a health pandemic, the murder of George Floyd and the tidal wave of protests, debate, and reaction that have followed his death have exposed that we are struggling with a pandemic of another kind: systemic racism.
Why does a company focused on online education for builders and energy advisors need to speak out in support of the Black Lives Matter movement? Because we know (and we're sure you know) that racism is alive and well in our industry, as is the marginalization of many other folks, including women, Indigenous peoples, LGBTQIA2S+ folks, and many others.

And even more fundamental than that: our culture cannot change unless everyone bothers to notice, acknowledge, and work to transform what is broken. Blue House Energy has been dedicated to the demolition of glass ceilings since we got started. We know that's not enough and so we are continuing to learn, push beyond our comfort zone, and work toward building a better world.
