Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) is a well-recognized green building certification program, used worldwide. Building Science Basics has been approved for CEU credit in the United States, through the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI).

The GBCI, established by the US Green Building Council, provides independent oversight of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) project certification and professional credentialing processes.

Building Science Basics is approved for LEED credits in the US (only) by GBCI and earns 10 CE hours.

Please note!

To earn the GBCI credits, you must purchase Building Science Basics through our training partner GreenHome Institute (GHI), one of the original LEED for Homes providers, serving the Midwest. GHI has certified over 8,000 homes and educated over 20,000 professionals on how to build and design better homes through LEED.
